I Believe...

"The American public school system, at its core, is a democratic institution. I believe firmly in the importance of ensuring that a range of voices and perspectives that represent members of this community are well heard.

My goal in this position is to promote and support thought around policies that better elevate the voices of parents, teachers, students, school staff, and community members. This is especially true as it relates to individual, class, school site level, and district-level educational issues within the local sphere, as well as larger/global educational issues that are reflected within our own school communities.

My goal is to both shine a light on and create a space for collaborative reflections by stakeholders using the information we have to support and progress our school district while ensuring that we align ourselves to our core values. My mission is to restore the democratic structure to our community school, by elevating the value in all of our voices."
